INSPIRATIONS FROM THE STUDIO
A kokeshi doll, somewhere in the studio.
A porcelain cat that watches over the workshop.
Tokyo. One of the cities we keep going back to.
Still the best way to hear a record.
Mexico City taught us rhythm has a color too.
Berlin runs quieter, but it never really stops.
NOT A SHOP. A CURATION.

Every piece is sourced individually and travels wherever the find is good. Nothing is restocked, nothing is mass. One of everything — that's the whole idea.

NOTIFY ME WHEN IT'S LIVE

Not a shop.
A curation.

Black Drop is a small, personally curated house of rare vinyl, sculptural turntables and design objects that sit at the intersection of sound and form.

Every piece is sourced individually and travels wherever the find is good — a record fair in London, a flea market in Lisbon or Mexico City, a small workshop in Kyoto, an estate sale in Berlin. Nothing is restocked, nothing is mass.

A drop is a single, limited release — gone once it's gone. The first one opens November 1st.

Listen

Rare and original-pressing vinyl, chosen for cultural weight or rarity — not only for condition.

Play

Design-forward turntables and audio objects, new or vintage, chosen for how they look as much as how they sound.

Object

Sculptural pieces adjacent to music and sound: lighting, small furniture, ceramics, ephemera.
